Truck Point: in San Giuliano Milanese, the first Enilive area for heavy-duty transport in Italy to receive “Gold” certification

Enilive, a company specialising in mobility products and services, has opened a new Enilive Truck Point in San Giuliano Milanese, Italy. The facility is the first Enilive rest area in the country to receive Gold certification under the European Safe & Secure Truck Parking Areas (SSTPA) standard.

Located at the Enilive service station on Viale Lombardia, at the intersection with Via Volturno, the new Truck Point provides 64 parking spaces for heavy-duty vehicles. The facility is designed to improve safety, comfort and convenience for truck drivers, offering renovated sanitary facilities, showers, washing machines, dryers, a dedicated relaxation area and free Wi-Fi throughout the site. Security is supported by video surveillance and modern access control systems, while electrical connections provide a reliable power supply for refrigerated trucks during extended stops.

Food services are also available through Enilive Café, which operates seven days a week and serves a range of refreshments and hot and cold meals, catering to drivers throughout the day, from breakfast to dinner.

The San Giuliano Milanese station also supports Multicard TruckPass24, Enilive's payment solution for heavy-duty transport professionals. The service enables users to manage refuelling operations across Europe, along with fleet services and administrative activities, through a dedicated acceptance network and digital tools.

Alongside conventional fuels, the station offers hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), a diesel biofuel produced entirely from renewable feedstocks. HVO can help reduce emissions from road transport, including heavy-duty vehicles, and can be used in diesel engines approved for the fuel without requiring structural modifications.

Across Europe, HVO is available at more than 1,700 of Enilive's approximately 5,300 service stations, which collectively serve over 1.5 million customers daily.

“The new Truck Point in San Giuliano Milanese is set to become a key reference point for travel along major heavy-transport routes. It is the first Enilive Truck Point in Italy to achieve ‘Gold’ certification, confirming its high standards for the safety and comfort of truck drivers. This significant milestone is part of an ongoing path that, in recent years, has transformed Enilive service stations into mobility hubs that can offer an ever-expanding range of services for people on the move,” said Andrea Percivalle, Head of Mobility & People Retail Services and Cards at Enilive.

The SSTPA Gold certification was awarded to the Enilive Truck Point in San Giuliano Milanese by DEKRA, the only body accredited in Europe for this scheme. “Sustainability certifications are a fundamental tool for demonstrating, in a credible and transparent manner, an organization’s commitment to its customers, stakeholders, and the market. The growing interest in the SSTPA scheme confirms that the sector is evolving toward models that place greater emphasis on people, safety, and service quality. We believe this shift is essential to support the future of logistics and fostering sustainable, responsible growth across the entire supply chain” said Lorenzo Pighi, Country Sales Manager at DEKRA Italia.
