the International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) 2025
Established in 2005, the International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) serves as the premier multidisciplinary technical event in the Eastern Hemisphere. The conference program and industry activities are designed to address technological and industry challenges faced by specialists and leaders globally.
Supported by four key industry organizations—the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE), the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE)—IPTC is dedicated to sharing advancements in technology, best practices, and collaborative activities. The focus is on enhancing the value chain and maximizing asset potential.
The conference's success is driven by the knowledge, expertise, and contributions of the participating nations and the diverse membership of the sponsoring societies across a wide range of multidisciplinary technologies. IPTC is led by a Board of Directors, comprising eight representatives from its four organizing societies.
Hosted by PETRONAS and co-hosted by SLB, the International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) will be back in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 18–20 February 2025.
