SLB OneSubsea Announces Agreement to Acquire Subsea Business of Envirex Group AS
The strategic transaction is expected to strengthen SLB OneSubsea’s technology and R&D capabilities while complementing and reinforcing its global scale and advanced execution platform.
Global energy technology company SLB announced that its OneSubsea™ joint venture has signed an agreement to acquire the subsea business of Norway-based Envirex Group AS. Following the transaction, Envirex Group AS and its subsea operations will become part of SLB OneSubsea.
The proposed acquisition will integrate Envirex Group’s specialized technologies and research capabilities into SLB OneSubsea’s global technology portfolio. This move is expected to accelerate the development and deployment of new subsea solutions, while broadening the range of innovative services offered to customers worldwide, as demand for efficient and next-generation subsea technologies continues to increase.
"This agreement represents a natural next step in a collaboration that has developed over more than a decade,” said Mads Hjelmeland, chief executive officer of SLB OneSubsea. “Once completed, the transaction would strengthen our technology portfolio and enhance the value we deliver to our customers."
The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
