Petrofac awarded contract in Bahrain

Petrofac, a leading service provider for the global energy sector, has secured a multi-million-dollar, two-year contract with Bapco Upstream W.L.L. (formerly known as Tatweer Petroleum – Bahrain Field Development Company W.L.L.) to boost production in Bahrain.

Under this contract, Petrofac will assist Bapco Upstream in its production efforts to satisfy the Kingdom's gas requirements by providing well hook-ups, related pipelines, and connections for multiple new wells in the Bahrain Field.

Regarding the contract, Group Chief Executive Tareq Kawash stated:

“Having delivered multiple projects for Bapco Upstream over the past decade, this award recognises our engineering and project execution capability.

“Our strong relationships with the local supply chain have ensured the safe and timely delivery of scopes, maintaining the highest standards of quality. We look forward to continuing these partnerships to deliver this critical infrastructure, which underpins the supply of energy to Bahrain."
