Pampa Energía selects Halliburton to support enterprise digital transformation

Halliburton has signed a multi-year agreement with Pampa Energía to advance the digital transformation of the company's unconventional operations in Vaca Muerta, one of the world's largest and most productive shale formations. As development across the region continues to accelerate, the partnership will support Pampa Energía's efforts to improve operational efficiency, enhance data-driven decision-making, and ensure consistent execution across its subsurface and operations teams.

As part of the agreement, Halliburton will implement an integrated digital transformation program for Pampa Energía, incorporating digital orchestration, high-resolution reservoir modeling, logistics optimization, and energy efficiency management. By integrating data governance, automation, and advanced scientific models, the program is designed to accelerate decision-making, improve cross-functional collaboration, and maximize asset performance. The initiative also reflects Halliburton’s commitment to delivering configurable digital solutions that embed trusted science into enterprise workflows at scale.

The collaboration provides Pampa Energía with a scalable digital foundation to support the long-term development of its Vaca Muerta operations and evolving unconventional business in Argentina. As the company targets production growth of up to 45,000 barrels per day by 2027, the program is expected to enhance operational consistency, improve capital efficiency, and create a platform for continued digital expansion as field development progresses.
