NYK to Donate Relief Funds to the Philippines in the Wake of Typhoon Trami

The NYK Group will contribute 5 million yen through the NYK-TDG Friendship Foundation, Inc. to aid relief and reconstruction efforts in the areas impacted by Typhoon Trami (known as Christine in the Philippines), which struck the country on October 24.


The NYK Group extends its heartfelt condolences to those affected by the disaster and hopes for a swift recovery in the region.

Established in 1990 by NYK together with Jose Roberto Delgado, CEO at the time of the Transnational Diversified Group (TDG),** the foundation provides food, shelter, health care, education, etc. for street children in the Philippines.
