Hanseatic Global Terminals becomes full owner of Florida International Terminal, LLC

Hanseatic Global Terminals and Grupo Empresas Navieras, through its affiliate Agunsa USA, Inc. (AGUNSA), have finalized a capital restructuring of Florida International Terminal, LLC (FIT), the operator of Florida International Terminal. As a result of the transaction, Hanseatic Global Terminals is now the sole owner of FIT, while AGUNSA continues to streamline its portfolio by divesting minority stakes.

Located at Port Everglades in South Florida, Florida International Terminal serves one of the world’s largest consumer markets. The facility specializes in handling both containerized and general cargo, with direct access to major highways and rail networks that support efficient inland and intermodal transportation across the region.

Founded in 2023, Hanseatic Global Terminals operates independently within the Hapag-Lloyd Group, focusing on terminal operations and infrastructure. As part of its 2030 strategy, the company plans to expand its global footprint from 21 to around 30 port terminals, strengthening its position as a leading terminal operator.
