Maersk Enhances Connectivity Across the Americas with New Manzanillo Depot
A.P. Moller – Maersk has officially opened a new depot in Manzanillo, Mexico, representing a strategic investment of more than USD15 million to strengthen the country’s logistics infrastructure. Located just 5 km from Manzanillo Port—the nation’s busiest port handling nearly half of Mexico’s containerized cargo—the new facility reflects Maersk’s long-term commitment to supporting trade growth and enhancing supply chain resilience.
Covering 31,000 square meters, the depot is designed to ease first- and last-mile congestion, enabling quicker and more efficient cargo movement through this key logistics hub. By expanding operational capacity at Manzanillo, Maersk further bolsters supply chain resilience while supporting Mexico’s expanding role in global trade.

By offering integrated services—from shunting to transloading and reefer support—we are helping customers simplify their supply chains and strengthen their competitiveness in both domestic and international markets.
