Lewis Hamilton Makes Final Visit to PETRONAS HQ in Kuala Lumpur to Bid Farewell to Employees and Supporters
Lewis Hamilton bid a heartfelt goodbye to PETRONAS as he made his last visit to the iconic Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, marking the end of an illustrious 12-year stint with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team.
The racing legend said emotional farewells to PETRONAS employees and fans across Malaysia who have stood by him throughout his record-breaking career. As many as 1,000 staff members gathered to pay tribute to Hamilton, who personally thanked them for their unwavering support.
The finale of the evening was marked by a mammoth gathering of 3,000 passionate fans, who joined forces with PETRONAS to acknowledge Lewis Hamilton's illustrious career and express their gratitude for the countless moments of exhilaration he has provided over the years.
As Lewis Hamilton reflected on his bittersweet farewell tour, he couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of emotion at the grand scale of adoration that had gathered in Kuala Lumpur to bid him adieu. Over the past decade, I have had the privilege of being a part of PETRONAS, and every time I step into the Twin Towers, I am greeted with warm smiles and a sense of belonging. As such, I sincerely hope that this visit is not my last encounter with this esteemed organization.
