Jacobs Awarded CG Semi Contract for Engineering Design of New OSAT Facility in India
Jacobs has been selected by CG Semi Private Limited, a joint venture involving CG, Renesas Electronics Corporation, and Stars Microelectronics (Thailand) Public Co. Ltd., to provide engineering design services for CG Semi's new Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) facility in Sanand, Gujarat, India.
In its role as the engineering, procurement, and construction services (EPCS) partner for the Mini Line and engineering partner for the Main Line, Jacobs will assist CG Semi in establishing a state-of-the-art OSAT facility.

The main facility is set to be developed on over 28 acres and will produce a range of advanced and legacy packages for industries including automotive, consumer, industrial, and 5G.
