Halliburton opens new facilities in Namibia

Halliburton Company is set to open new facilities in Namibia, emphasizing the growing significance of the country's oil and gas industry. Located across Windhoek, Walvis Bay, Swakopmund, and Lüderitz, these facilities cover a combined area of 20,000 m², establishing a strong regional presence.


The Windhoek office will provide support services, while Walvis Bay will focus on Cementing & Drilling Fluids and warehousing. Swakopmund will host Sperry Drilling, Well Completions, Testing & Subsea, and Wireline & Perforating services. In Lüderitz, Halliburton will support Cementing and Wireline operations. Through these facilities, Halliburton aims to deliver advanced technologies to Namibia’s energy sector, including oilfield automation, remote operations, geosteering, measurement while drilling, and well testing.
