Bureau Veritas enhances its Buildings & Infrastructure solutions through Buildings & Information Modeling digital enablement by acquiring IDP Group
IDP Group Designated as a Bureau Veritas Global Technical Center for BIM and Digital Solutions in the Buildings, Infrastructure, and Energy Sectors.
Bureau Veritas has announced the acquisition of IDP Group, a prominent independent provider of Building Information Modeling (BIM), Project Management Assistance, and Digital Twin services for both public and private sectors, with a strong focus on decarbonization and other high-value verticals. This acquisition aligns with Bureau Veritas’ LEAP | 28 strategy to enhance its leadership in Buildings & Infrastructure (B&I) while investing in strategic digital assets to address sustainability challenges.
Bureau Veritas is dedicated to creating safer, more sustainable, and resilient buildings and infrastructures, offering tailored solutions from feasibility studies through construction and asset operations. With its extensive global reach and comprehensive service portfolio, the company empowers clients throughout the construction value chain. This acquisition will bolster Bureau Veritas’ B&I capabilities by enhancing its operational capacity across the global Buildings & Infrastructure service line and leveraging IDP Group’s innovative BIM expertise and Digital Twin asset digitalization.
