Aramco enhances its global partnership ecosystem through collaboration with French companies

Aramco, one of the world’s leading integrated energy and chemicals companies, has announced a series of agreements and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with French companies, with a potential combined value exceeding $3.7 billion.


The partnerships are aimed at strengthening Aramco’s supply chain ecosystem, improving operational continuity and efficiency, accelerating the adoption of industrial AI and digital technologies, and creating long-term economic value for both Saudi Arabia and France.


The agreements and MoU were announced during the French-Saudi Investment Roundtable Meeting, attended by Aramco President and CEO Amin H. Nasser.


Together, these collaborations will support major projects, expand local capabilities through capacity building and technology transfer, drive innovation, and enhance supply chain resilience. The agreements include:

  1. Corporate procurement agreement for drilling equipment
  2. Purchase agreement for Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG)
  3. Memorandum of Understanding with Aramco Digital that establishes a framework for potential collaboration in industrial AI, virtual twin/digital twin technologies, and related technologies, including potential applications in the oil and gas sector
